There is something unique and special about Telugu thriller movies and no wonder why they have a lot of fanbase all across India. The thrill, the suspense and the unexpected twists keep us completely hooked into the movie from the beginning to the end. In 2025, I recently watched a few Telugu movies on Aha and here are my three favourite movies which stood out and left a strong impression on me. As someone who loves stories that keep the heart racing, these movies have become my personal favourites.
Paanch Minar
If you are looking for a good Telugu comedy thriller movie, I would recommend you to watch Paanch Minar. Paanch Minar gives you a thoroughly entertaining ride from the start to finish. The story revolves around Chotu, who arranges a surprise party for his Don father. But unfortunately, the party turns tragic. Chotu inherits the crime empire and discovers Uncle Murthy’s betrayal. Meanwhile Kittu, a cab driver pretending to be deaf, lands in peril after unknowingly helping twin killers. Paanch Minar balances humor and suspense really well keeping the audience engaged throughout. Do watch Paanch Minar streaming only on Aha.
Aditya Vikrama Vyuha
Aditya Vikrama Vyuha is a crime thriller starring Aravind Madadi, Kruthi Sidharth and Pranay Sood in lead roles. The story is about Vikram, who is a private detective. He helps Aditya, a police officer, catch a serial killer named “The painter”. The painter kills only five to six people once a year, in the same month. The story goes with the suspense of whether Vikram will find “the painter” or not. What is the motive behind the serial murders? Aditya Vikrama Vyuha is a treat for anyone who is looking for a good serial killer kind of genre movie to watch. Similar to Aditya Vikrama Vyuha, there are many telugu thriller movies streaming on Aha.
Rippan Swamy
Rippan Swamy is a bomb of secrets, drama, and suspense. The story unfolds the mysterious suicide of Rippan Swamy in the fictional Malnad village of Snana Kopa. Vijay Raghavendra as Rippan Swamy has brought the character to life. Kishore Moobidri promised the story of Rippan Swamy by ensuring Swamy isn’t someone you “understand”, he is someone you “experience” through his marvellous direction. Rippan Swamy is not just a thriller movie but a movie that takes you to the world of adventure and makes you feel the courage and bravery portrayed in the film.
The Conclusion
In the end, these Telugu thriller movies from 2025 gave me an unforgettable experience. All three movies didn’t let me sleep for a week because of the unbelievable experience I got from these movies. If you are like me who enjoys mystery,tension and thriller movies, then you must definitely watch Paanch Minar, Aditya Vikrama Vyuha and Rippan Swamy. Each film brought out its own style of suspense and storytelling, making the journey exciting and memorable. Like these movies, there are many more gems hidden on Aha.
